Adelante Media Group, LLC, the fast growing broadcast company specializing in Spanish language programming in emerging Hispanic markets, announced today that it will affiliate with the brand new MundoFox television network in Milwaukee, Salt Lake City and Sacramento. The network’s innovative programming will appear on Adelante’s WBWT-TV 38 in Milwaukee, KBTU-TV 23 in Salt Lake City and KSAO-TV 49 in Sacramento where it also operates KSTV-TV 32 in addition to radio stations in all three markets.
“Today is a great day for Adelante”, said Ed Krampf, Chief Operating Officer. “I cannot express how excited we are to be associated with MundoFox at the beginning of what will no doubt be a game changer in the world of Spanish language television in the U.S.”
Commenting on the affiliation, Gerardo Martinez, Market Manager for Modesto radio and Sacramento TV for Adelante said, “Spanish language media has evolved significantly over the last couple of decades, and Hispanic consumers are demanding choice and quality programming. We are very excited to be the exclusive local representative of this new venture in all three of our TV markets.”
“Adelante is Spanish for ‘moving forward’ and we’ve taken another big step today,” said Jay Meyers, CEO of Adelante Media Group. “There is an old saying that those that do not study history are destined to repeat it, but in this case I’ll change it to those that study history will be lucky enough to repeat it. Today the Fox brand is synonymous with success in television; including having network TV’s top rated shows. In 1985 it was an upstart network trying to break into the big three’s world. We are extremely confident that MundoFox will duplicate that success in serving the fast growing Hispanic market.”
Adelante Media Group owns and operates radio and television stations in nine emerging Hispanic markets and specializes in great Spanish language formats. In addition, the company distributes two network 24/7 music formats, Regional Mexican LaGranD and Spanish CHR Latino. The networks are available for affiliation nationwide.
